Looking for a last blast of summer holiday fun…

Head to the Dunmore East Bluegrass Festival in Co. Waterford from the 25th – 28th August with authentic bluegrass music, fine dining, jamming and dancing day and night.

The Dublin Bay Taste & Music Festival takes place in Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin from the 25th- 28th August with top chefs applying their culinary magic using fine local food products and offering plenty to tantalize taste buds.

For film lovers, the Charlie Chaplin Comedy Film Festival runs from the 25th – 28th August in Waterville, Co. Kerry, featuring exclusive movie screenings, street parade, ‘tramps’ ball and world premiere of Charlie Chaplin’s ‘The Circus’.

If you want to stretch your legs, Féile Siulóidi na Lúnasa will take you on a breath-taking journey, soaking up Achill’s flora and fauna, majestic scenery, blue flag beaches, and archaeological sites from the 27th– 29th August.

Or soak up some country air at the Irish Game & Country Fair from the 27th – 28th August in Birr, Co. Offaly, with clay shooting and fishing competitions, an action packed main arena and tented village showcasing country lifestyle.

For cycling enthusiasts, The Single Speed World Championships gets underway in Limerick City, running from 27th – 28th August. There will be lots of fun for spectators, including an outdoor gig with Delorentos and The Flaws topping the bill.
