Ferry prices tumble

IN another measure that will offer families extra value, Irish Ferries has reduced all summer fares to France by up to 30% and cut the cost of all cabin types by up to 50%, save for their four- and five-star suites.

The fare for a car, plus two adults and two children, now begins from €199 per person each way, including accommodation in a four-berth two-star cabin.

Bookings for travel during June, July and August must be made 10 days before travel and before Tuesday, May 5.
