Escape to an adventure

THE Great Escape Expo is on today and tomorrow at the RDS in Dublin, and it’s aimed at anyone planning to take time out or move abroad for a longer spell.

The adventurous could climb Kilimanjaro, visit Borneo, cruise the Yangtze, give some time to help a needy community or a worthwhile project, or simply take skills somewhere for a new life.

Sponsored by Western Union, the expo, in association with Lonely Planet, brings over 50 specialist companies under one roof (with a free seminar programme) to offer a wealth of advice and opportunities to gain valuable experience and skills through volunteer programmes, working holidays, conservation projects, gap years, studying abroad, career breaks or adventure in hundreds of destinations.
