CORK-BASED Dawson Travel offers a one- night practice day package to the Ryder Cup on September 18, with overnight at the Heritage Golf and Spa Resort.

The deal comes at the rather hefty price of €499 per person sharing, but it includes coach transfers from Cork, a round of golf, four-course dinner, overnight accommodation, entrance to the K Club for the practice day and transfers back to Cork.

A further one day package on September 20 is available for €150 per person, departing Cork at 7am and returning at 10pm.

Meanwhile, the company also offers packages for Ireland’s Six Nations game against Italy in Rome over next year’s St Patrick’s weekend, with direct flights from Cork. The three-night packages start from €769.
