nA NEW Irish ski tour company has been launched, with a focus on tailor made holidays at Morzine, France — part of the world’s largest linked ski resort.

Slopeside is the brainchild of UCD Commerce graduates, Richard Whelan, Colm McMahon and Ronan McKeon. The three professionals have worked extensively at ski resorts worldwide and feel there’s a gap in the market for luxury holidays, with a focus on quality, convenience and comfort.

The company uses scheduled flights rather than charters to minimise potential delays.

Slopeside has chosen to base itself in the Portes du Soleil region of Haute Savoie, which boasts the largest linked ski area in the world with an incredible 650km of pistes, linking 13 resorts across Switzerland and France.
