Fun for all the family in Asia

SAYIT Travel and Kumuka have added a new range of Asia family tours to their portfolio.

Asia is becoming a very popular destination for families, with a host of different and exciting activities, as well as a variety of cultures, sights and experiences to tantalise even the youngest traveller.

Kumuka family holidays aim to provide families with a genuine experience of the country and its culture, without the hassle of trying to manage and organise such a trip independently.

Child and adult-friendly activities and excursions are carefully planned, transport is comfortable and clean, and hotels have been specifically chosen for their family-friendly facilities.

The tours include a mixture of sightseeing and free time, and experienced guides are provided.

SAYIT and Kumuka have family adventures ranging from nine to 14 days in China, India, Sri Lanka, Vietnam and Thailand. For more information on Kumuka Worldwide Asia family tours, contact SAYIT Travel on 021 4279 188 or visit www.sayit.ie

* RESTORED cottages on an organic farm in Northern Ireland have been awarded a five-star rating by the NITB, after being deemed to offer the highest standard of self-catering accommodation.

Local property entrepreneur Dr Gerard O’Hare and his wife Margaret bought the 100-acre farm to protect the local environment, when plans were being made to quarry sand from the land.

It is hoped the organic farm will be fully operational later this year and the previously derelict cottages have been restored in the same eco-friendly fashion.

Lurganconary Farm is located outside Kilkeel on the picturesque south Down coast, and the cottages are within walking distance of the well-known blue flag Cranfield beach and the historical Norman village, Greencastle.

Kilkeel, a charming old harbour town which is home to Northern Ireland’s largest fishing fleet is only a five-minute drive from the farm. Rostrevor village and the coastal town of Warrenpoint are a short drive away, offering a selection of restaurants and bars with nightly entertainment.
