Kim Kardashian reveals brain aneurysm diagnosis
Kim Kardashian is seen undergoing brain imaging in the teaser for the new season of The Kardashians.
Reality star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian has revealed that she has been diagnosed with a brain aneurysm.
Kardashian disclosed the diagnosis during the teaser for the seventh season of reality show, which she stars in alongside her family, including her mother Kris Jenner and sisters Kourtney Kardashian Barker, Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner.
In the teaser, which premiered on Thursday on Hulu, Kardashian is seen undergoing brain imaging.
"There's like a little aneurysm,â she says, as the scans appear on a monitor.
Her sister Kourtney Kardashian Barker is seen reacting to the diagnosis, saying, âWhoa".
Kardashian later suggests that the aneurysm could be linked to stress.
According to the Mayo Clinic, a brain aneurysm forms when blood flowing through the blood vessel puts pressure on a weak area of the vessel wall, which can increase the size of the brain aneurysm.
If the brain aneurysm leaks or ruptures, it causes bleeding in the brain, known as a hemorrhagic stroke.
Brain aneurysms are common and most brain aneurysms aren't serious, especially if they're small, and most brain aneurysms don't rupture, according to the Mayo Clinic.
Episode one of Season seven of aired on Thursday, and episode two will air on October 30, 2025, exclusively on Hulu.
