As a self-professed lapsed Catholic, I left organised religion behind after leaving school over a decade ago. For years, the idea of faith or ‘something bigger’ felt distant — until the pandemic hit, and a string of losses in my twenties drew me to the concept of spirituality.

And it seems like I am not alone.
