Social media influencer and business owner Hannah Neeleman, best known as Ballerina Farm on Instagram, has returned to Cork to take part in a cooking course at Ballymaloe Cookery School.

Neeleman took a trip to Ireland with her family back in November, saying one of their favourite parts of the trip was their time spent exploring Ballymaloe Cookery School and its 100-acre farm.

“Inside the school are world-renowned chefs teaching students from all over the world how to make food from scratch. It was so incredible to see,” she said in a video posted on Instagram.

“These chefs are sourcing only the best ingredients and just making everything slow and from scratch. Each student makes a three-course meal every day. They have a 12-week course and every day they make a three-course meal. Then at lunch, they sit down and eat it.”

During her last trip to Ireland, Neeleman said the air in East Cork gave her life and she has since returned with her family to take part in the cookery school’s course.

On Wednesday, she posted a video of her and her husband Daniel donning their chef uniforms with the caption: “Daniel and I moved the gang across the pond for the next little while to attend Chef school. First day of school for mom and dad.”

Neeleman is known for posting about homemaking, farming, and raising eight children. Ballerina Farm is also the name of Neeleman's farm in Kamas, Utah, and her online store.

She has acquired 10.1 million Instagram followers and 9.8 million TikTok followers.

Neeleman purchased her 328-acre farm in 2018 after returning to Utah after years abroad, raising cattle, chickens, sheep, pigs, and other livestock.

The Ballerina Farm store sells a range of products including pre-packaged baked goods, beeswax candles, honey, sourdough starter, kitchen supplies, clothing, and flowers grown in Ecuador.

The farm's name, suggested by Neeleman's older brother, is inspired by her background as a professional ballerina.

The family plans to spend some time in Ireland while both Hannah and Daniel take part in cookery school at Ballymaloe Cookery School which is becoming a hotspot for celebs looking to turn their hand to learning how to cook.

In December, The Amazing Spider-Man actor Andrew Garfield told Today FM’s Dave Moore that he has earmarked the cookery school as a “bucket-list” destination.

Garfield spoke about the “amazing cookery school in Ireland” which he said he has been “dying to go to”.

“I've been dying to do it, it's on the bucket list,” he said.

The ‘Rev’ Richard Coles, who recently appeared on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here, is also set to return to Cork next summer. Last year he took part in one of Ballymaloe Cookery School’s short courses and is set to return to East Cork for this year’s Ballymaloe Festival of Food.
