The actor's husband suffered a sudden brain haemorrhage after jumping into a pool of freezing water

Coronation Street actor Carol Royle has said her family’s “hearts are aching” after the death of her husband.

Taking to Instagram this week, Royle said she was “desperately sorry” to post the news that they had lost her “wonderful husband” Julian Spear on December 9.
