After impressing the nation with his passion last November, Stevie Mulrooney was invited to sing Ireland’s Call one more — this time ahead of the match between Ireland and Italy at the Aviva.
Stevie first came to our attention during the Late Late Toy Show last year when he sang the rugby anthem before being surprised by players Peter O'Mahony and Bundee Aki.
Yesterday, he was the star of the show as the match kicked off.
Speaking to the Irish Examiner, Aki said he had goosebumps watching Stevie sing at the Aviva.
"It was incredible. I fully support doing this more often. I was getting goosebumps when he was singing," he said.
"He’s got some voice and some set of pipes on him. I really enjoyed seeing the passion he had for what he was singing. I think we should do this more often."
