Colonel Chris Hadfield has a CV that’s a marvel compared to those of us who’ve stayed on terra firma all our lives: He’s an astronaut who has space walked, been a fighter pilot with the Canadian Armed Forces, a test pilot, a musician, and a public speaker.

Yet when he finished at the Canadian Space Agency in 2013, he wasn’t in retirement mode.
