Sea shanty star Nathan Evans finally sinks his chart rivals

Viral sea shanty sensation Nathan Evans has finally reached number one on the UK singles chart.

The 26-year-old former postman, from Airdrie in North Lanarkshire in Scotland, climbed to the top spot after seven consecutive weeks in the top three, according to the Official Charts Company.
