Polio is a virus that mainly affects children under the age of five

At the moment in Ireland, there is no or very low risk of being exposed, but if we start to have more people declining childhood vaccines, that statement will become less accurate.

I’ve two teenage boys who are fully vaccinated. I’ve read recently that there’s been an outbreak of polio in the US. Do I need to get them vaccinated against polio again?
