Wellness is having a moment â from yoga, to reformer pilates, matcha dates, and journaling â and we're becoming more aware of how best to care for our bodies, by moving more, eating whole foods, and making time to slow down.
Well-known experts in the health and wellbeing space are set to gather at the Marina Market in Cork for Feelgoodâs September Reset Live event, presented by the Irish Examiner.
On Sunday, September 14, attendees will enjoy expert-led workshops designed to leave them feeling recharged and realigned. The focus will be on wellbeing, health, and fitness. Those attending the event will also be treated to a No Sin smoothie, a powerball, and a goodie bag worth âŹ100.
An uplifting session will be hosted by Laura Dowling, a passionate and entertaining advocate for womenâs intimate health. SiobhĂĄn O'Donovan (also known as The Boobie Physio) will speak about her mission to inspire women and girls to feel, move, and look better through better posture and bra-fit. Catherine OâKeeffe, a menopause advocate and founder of Wellness Warrior, will offer empowering insights on hormone health.Â
The morning will close with a session led by fitness instructor Emma Barry Murphy, who will lead a signature barre class suitable for all levels, designed to leave you feeling energised and ready to take on a new week.

"Whether youâre brand new or a seasoned barre go-er, this session will be for everyone,â she says.Â
âYouâll move your body in a lovely, controlled way, while also experiencing that signature barre burn. Everyone will leave with something - be it a good workout, a heightened awareness of your body or a good mood.âÂ
O'Donovan says her workshop on the day is all about improving posture from the inside out: âBreast changes are hormonal or related to body fat, not muscle. But did you know that the muscles supporting your breast weight are actually located in your back?âÂ

O'Keeffe will explore the role of hormones in influencing our emotions, sleep patterns, mood, and overall health.Â
âBy understanding and paying attention to our amazing hormones, women can feel better day-to-day and set themselves up to stay well at every stage of life, from menstruation through to post menopause,â she says.
Dowling, known for her entertaining approach to advocating for womenâs intimate health issues, will address the gap in education about womenâs bodies.
âWhy are women still referring to their vulva and vagina as âdown thereâ? Thereâs a huge gap in education about womenâs bodies,â she says.

âWomen often lack the language to discuss their needs or the knowledge to care for them. I want to help change this.âÂ
Life/Style editor Esther McCarthy will be on MC duties for the first-ever Feelgood September Reset Live event, and Feelgood editor Irene Feighan will host the Q&A session.Â
âSpend the morning with our experts, and we promise you'll leave feeling inspired, motivated and fitter. Weâd love you to be part of our vibrant wellbeing community,â says Feighan.
