Jonathan Anderson to bring Dior fashion show to Ireland for the first time

The fall collection will be unveiled against the backdrop of Trinity College Dublin’s Old Library and also marks the first time that Anderson will present a collection in Ireland

Iconic fashion house Dior has announced that it will hold its fall 2027 show in Dublin this December.

The fall collection will be unveiled against the backdrop of Trinity College Dublin’s Old Library, an 18th-century building housing a world-class library and cultural institution.

Northern Irish fashion designer and creative director of Dior’s womenswear, menswear, and haute couture collections, Jonathan William Anderson, posted the news on Instagram on Wednesday, saying he was “so excited and so proud” to be able to show the fall 2027 collection at Trinity College.

His words were accompanied by an illustration of a four-leaf clover, which has become a repeating motif in Dior's pieces since Anderson took the helm in summer 2025.

His appointment to the position marked the first time a single designer has overseen the house's entire creative output since Christian Dior.

The show, which will be held on Friday, December 4, marks the first time that Anderson will present a collection in Ireland. It also marks the first time that Dior has shown in Ireland.

Speaking about the show, Anderson said: “Showing at Trinity College Dublin is a dream come true. I began my career in fashion in Dublin, so returning here feels deeply personal. To present this collection in such an extraordinary setting – at an institution with such an important cultural history – is a real honour.”
