BUJO Burgers has opened a new location on Dublin's Dame Street

BuJo has just opened its biggest restaurant yet at Central Plaza on Dublin’s Dame Street. The new flagship features an all-new breakfast menu, alongside desserts and independent local beer from Changing Times and Wicklow Wolf. The juicyburgers, made from grass-fed beef from BuJo’s butchery in Watergrasshill, Cork, are naturally the draw for most, but we recommend ordering a side of chicken tenders which are some of the best we’ve ever had.

The wellness weekend

Elevate Fit Fest returns to Tipperary this September, bringing together fitness, mindfulness and community on the grounds of the family-run Shanbally House.

The River Club has unveiled its new summer terrace experience. Sundaes & Spritz is a collaboration with award-winning Irish gelato makers Scúp. Expect a splash of Italian sophistication at the River Lee with a fresh palette of white and blue florals, with striking delphiniums taking centre stage. Try the River Club Signature Sundae featuring raspberry jelly, custard, Scúp Irish gelato, fruit coulis, cream and nuts.

Ideal for long summer afternoons, leisurely spritzes, and relaxing city-escape moments.

On Thursdays throughout the summer, the River Club terrace will offer complimentary Scúp gelato scoops to guests between 6pm and 6.15pm, served from the River Club gelato bike with the purchase of a cocktail. Reservations recommended.

The Montenotte Hotel, in Cork has launched a new Summer Wellness Series

The wellness experience

The Montenotte, an urban retreat with sweeping city views, is launching a new wellness summer series. Within the landscaped gardens and cocooned indoor spaces, try a sound bath and guided meditation on June 28 with Hayley Power Wellness; pilates on July 11 and yoga on August 22. Suitable for all levels, the hour-long sessions will begin with a smoothie shot on arrival, followed by mindful movement, stretching and breathwork in your selected discipline with brunch afterwards in Panorama.
