The calming mist

Sally Foran’s beauty column this week has assured us that our skin feeling more stressed than usual is perfectly common in the winter months.

To soothe, we’ve just picked up a bottle of Patchology’s new Skin Remedy Calm & Protect Mist, €14, for our work desk. This ultra-fine facial mist promises to deliver an instant cooling and calming boost to skin that’s feeling irritated, tight, or stressed. Powered by skin-strengthening Ectoin and probiotics, a botanical blend of calming plant extracts hydrates and comforts skin at any time of day.

The light therapy boost

Continuing until the end of January, guests to Clink I Lár, the hostel located just steps from Temple Bar, can experience a wellbeing boost with free 30-minute light therapy sessions when purchasing a drink from the hostel’s wellness menu – offerings include Yaya Kombucha.

In the premium Vista Rooms, guests can wake more naturally thanks to Lumie Bodyclock Glow 150 sunrise alarms, available for free in all private Vista Rooms across the top floors, with panoramic city views.

The hostel’s library is getting a glow-up and will be reimagined as an immersive sun lounge, where newly installed Lumie Mini bright light therapy lamps will bring a light into the darker months.
