The Wildflowers of Ireland, a new collection from Love Cherish and Hope & Ivy

Popular Charleville boutique Love Cherish has teamed up with a London fashion label to unveil a seven-piece collection inspired by the Irish countryside.

The Wildflowers of Ireland is the result of a collaboration between the Cork store and Hope & Ivy. Inspired by the wild landscapes of Ireland, the dresses feature rugged coastlines, rolling hills, and vibrant wildflowers — plus keen-eyes Corkonians will spot iconic landmarks including Gougane Barra and Blarney Castle within the gowns.

Hope & Ivy’s signature hand-painted prints and intricate embroidery are evident on the collection, which was sparked by a shared vision between Maeve Dennehy of Love Cherish and the Hope & Ivy team who were inspired by native wildflowers such as fuchsias, spring gentians, and sea asters.

“It’s the perfect blend of English design and Irish charm,” says Maeve. “I’m incredibly proud to share this new collection, which perfectly blends modern style with a nod to the natural beauty that surrounds us here in Ireland.”

The collection also draws deeply from iconic Irish locations, including Blarney, Gougane Barra, the Cliffs of Moher, and the Ballyhoura Mountains near Maeve's home.

Hope & Ivy’s print designer, Laura, hand-painted a scenic piece inspired by the Cliffs of Moher which became the foundation for the prints and embroideries that adorn each dress.

The Wildflowers of Ireland was launched at an exclusive fashion event in Cork at the weekend with the designers behind the collaboration in attendance.

The collection of wearable art, ranging from €105 to €165, is now available in-store and online at lovecherish.com, with sizes from 8-22.
