Galway-based Kinvara Skincare is the latest to come on board with refill packs, the first of which is a 250ml pouch of their bestselling Absolute Cleansing Oil.
The brand’s founder Dr Joanne Reilly said the move was, in part, brought on by customers getting in touch directly to ask for a refillable version — three cheers for people power.
With 87% less plastic, it’s already a winner, but the €17 saving (when compared with €26.95 for the regular 100ml) also helps. The brand estimates customers will get about eight months of daily cleansing (based on 250 pumps of 1ml) out of the pack.
