Renowned for its 60% savings on designer labels, now, for the first time Kildare Village is giving shoppers a glimpse of new season stock.

News that current season looks are now on sale was announced at Kildare Village's cool and edgy spring/summer launch.

The fashion show was styled by international stylist, Tallulah Harlech.

Known for her styling, acting, and putting pen to paper for titles such as Vanity Fair and Vogue, Tallulah Harlech is also fashion editor at Pop Magazine. She has posed for some legendary photographers including Mario Testino, Bruce Weber and Ellen Von Unwerth.

The show opened with a military look from Diesel and closed with a show-stopping red velvet gown from Paul Costello at Curated by Design Centre.

Interviewed by Communications Director Val Forde, Tallulah Harlech described how she usually eschews trends but was influenced by Miu Miu when observing the stock at Kildare Village.

Describing the show as ‘leggy’, underwear was a focus, as models showcased blazers with sheer tights.

“I went for a pantless extravaganza,” the stylist laughed, adding that beyond that it was purely driven by ‘model and product’.

She also described growing up as the daughter of Amanda Harlech, Karl Lagerfeld’s muse.

She recalled the Chanel show when Karl Lagerfeld famously brought her by hand onto the catwalk when she was just 11. As she name-checked Kate and Naomi, she said, “I just wanted to hang out backstage with the models.”
