On the red carpet: Kiernan Shipka, Olivia Wilde, Kaley Cuoco and Emilia Clarke

On the red carpet this week with Rachel Marie Walsh.

1. Kiernan Shipka

Those are pom-pom ruffles on Kiernan Shipka’s shoulders but this Rosie Assoulin outfit is still fairy-like.

The top is cool but the combination of tiers, pleats and lamé fabric gives that skin an especially interesting texture.

2. Olivia Wilde

Olivia Wilde is probably the coolest woman in Hollywood, so while those palazzo pants are a bit ridiculous she makes the overall look as chic as anything Alice and Olivia ever made.

Almost every woman at the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic had a dinky top-handle bag (trend alert!).

3. Kaley Cuoco

Gingham is rare in October but so is drinking at the polo, right?

I like how Kaley Cuoco’s Fendi outfit is at least as comfortable as any man’s outfit at this event. She didn’t even wear heels with her shorts, those are monk-strap brogues.

4. Emilia Clarke

There are so few photos in which Emilia Clarke does not look like she is having the best night ever.

Here she is laughing it up in a gorgeous Balmain suit at the HBO Films’ My Dinner With Herve premiere in Hollywood. The cute harem cut pants show off her Jimmy Choo sandals.
