INSPIRATION

When Karl Lagerfeld showcased the Chanel Cruise 2017 show in Cuba, the fashion world took note.

The vintage glamour of Club Tropicana, salsa dancing, Coppelia ice-cream parlours and open-top Cadillacs stoked the flames of fantasy.

Translate this footloose freedom into cropped tops, rococo ruffles and graphic floral prints and – boom – we’ve got one hot trend. Put on those party shoes, folks.

HATS OFF

Tie a silk scarf around the head, tie at the nape and top with a fedora.

HOT HUES

Vibrant defines the Havana colourway. Think guava pink, tomato red and juicy oranges. The more saturated, the better!
