Tried and tested: Make-up remover wipes

Can Magnitone London’s Wipeout! Cleansing Cloth really remove make-up with just water? Gemma Dunn investigates...

Tried and tested: Make-up remover wipes

“After years of copious make-up wipes, even more cotton pads and tricky mascara residue, the idea of a cleansing cloth that promises to eradicate all of the above, using only water, seems too good to be true.

"But that could all be about to change, thanks to Magnitone’s bubblegum-pink micro-fibre cleansing cloth.

"The process is effortless — but first, you’ll need to pop the cloth in the washing machine, at 30C, to activate it (you can rinse it through after use and re-wash as required).

"Then, when you want to use it, simply wet your cloth with warm water and wipe away make-up.

"It feels very gentle and even got rid of my stubborn mascara with no dragging, and caused zero irritation to my particularly sensitive eye area.”

* Magnitone London Wipeout! Cleansing Cloth, €17.95 for pack of two.
