UK couture label Ralph&Russo does not do ready-to-wear, only bespoke pieces for a clientele that ranges from babies to red-carpet royalty. Jessica Alba was so radiant in this gown at the Vanity Fair Oscar Party that I can’t believe she didn’t save it for the main event.
Diane Kruger is always one to watch during awards season, the Reem Acra gown she wore to the 2016 Vanity Fair Oscar Party is still one of my favourites, but a train hanging between your legs isn’t a great look. It’s vintage Chanel, which is cool. I just can’t get on board with the design.
Kate Bosworth bucked for ‘Best Grace Kelly Impersonator’ at the Vanity Fair party in a sea-green J.Mendel gown and Piaget diamonds. Pilates-toned arms are a modern accessory but equally covetable.
Kate Beckinsale wore Zuhair Murad to the same event. She is as beautiful as ever but between the visible knickers, wallpaper-pattern sequins and oversized chiffon sleeves this gown has too much going on for my taste.
