Trend of the week: Rich reds

Go deep into the darker side of red.

INSPIRATION

Warm and full-bodied, this season’s palette of red offers up a shade of mystery. Marsala, merlot, claret and burgundy trump last season’s love aff air with grey – all fi fty shades of it.

No half-hearted measures here. Think saturated tones, luxe fabrics and simple cuts that seduce and intoxicate in equal measure.

STYLE NOTES

Break up the palette with a neutral like navy. Add accents of baby blue or soft pink for a softer approach to the trend.

Looking for drama? Work the hue head-to-toe or incorporate black (feathers and fringe, anyone?) for after hours impact.
