Street trend: Clare Hurley

What are you wearing?

Today I’m wearing a lace jacket dress (€49) and floral embroidered jacket (€98) from Whitefawn Boutique, Clonakilty; River Island skinny jeans (€50), a bag from Amity, Cork (€52), butterfly clock necklace from Argento (gift) and fringe ankle boots from Spool72.com (€40).

Describe your style in three words?

Casual, funky, bohemian.

How long does it take you to get dressed in the morning?

For work, about 15-20 minutes as I try to have everything put together the night before.

Fashion or function — which word best describes your attitude to clothes and why?

Both. I need to be comfortable in what I wear but I also like to look my best. When I feel good, it has a massive positive effect on my day.

What’s your biggest source of style inspiration?

Fashion blogs, Instagram and Pinterest.

What do you think of Irish street style?

Irish street style is fantastic at the moment. There is so much individuality out there and more and more people are thinking outside the box and experimenting.

Where do you like to shop?

I love my individual, unique and pretty clothing so I focus big time on Whitefawn Boutique, Clonakilty. I also like Amity and Asos. Free People is also fantastic for really unique pieces.

Who or what is Ireland’s greatest undiscovered gem?

Folkster/Shutterbug kilo sales!

Why does your style/outfit work?

The dress and jacket work well together with the skinny jeans and reflect my bohemian style.
