Name: Aoife Flanagan

Street trend: Aoife Flanagan, Co Meath

What are you wearing? Today I’m wearing Citizens of Humanity leather pants (€120), Asos dress (€25) and Steve Madden boots (€190).

Describe your style in three words? Eclectic, fun, casual.

How long does it take you to get dressed in the morning? Five to 10 minutes (depending on how many times I’ve hit the snooze button).

Fashion or function – which word best describes your attitude to clothes and why? A bit of both. I wouldn’t go outside in the freezing cold wearing something that didn’t keep me warm as well as looking smart. I’m more likely to layer up and then peel off to reveal my inner personality and style.

What’s your biggest source of style inspiration? I tend to follow my own thoughts on dressing. I would definitely take inspiration from movies, music and different cultures. It’s important to mix things up and keep it interesting.

Where do you like to shop? I do a lot of shopping online. I like vintage stores and finding pieces that stand out as classics. I was recently in NY and there’s a whole treasure chest of places with so much to offer.

Who or what is Ireland’s greatest undiscovered gem? Cows Lane Market on Saturdays and the Design Centre in Powerscourt Centre, Dublin. Not exactly undiscovered but definitely full of hidden gems.

Why does your style/outfit work? It’s comfortable and chic enough that I can go out in the evening or make it work throughout the day.
