Chanel “Precious Feathers” Collection

The darker it gets, the more light our features should catch, it seems, as most winter makeup highlights to some degree. Finely-milled powders like Chanel Camélia de Plumes Pressed Powder, €56, impart the most sophisticated, natural illumination. The surface is printed with feathers that fan into a camellia, one of Chanel’s best-known codes. Oiseaux de Nuit, €52, a complementary eye-shadow quintet, contains similarly sparkly shades of silver, gold, white, silver and graphite. Rouge Allure in “Volage” and Allure Velvet in “La Flamboyant,” €32 each, offer shimmery pink and radiant red lips, respectively.
