Fashion as it is all about fun and individuality — a form of self-expression.
Fashion magazines and online fashion and design blogs often create a wonderful theatrical version of fashion. I find this sense of fashion story-telling inspiring and often twist and alter things to suit my own personal style and mood.
There is a lot of inspiration and very stylish people on the streets of Ireland. I feel in general we do take pride in how we look. We are a creative nation and this is often clear to see in how people express themselves through their personal style.
Urban Outfitters, Zara, Topshop, ASOS are generally my high street go to stores. However, I do love rummaging around vintage shops and markets while travelling and love finding something individual to add to an outfit.
Muireann Walshe, Aisling Duffy and Blaithin Ennis are prime examples of the calibre of supreme work being accomplished by Irish designers today.
