What are you wearing? Top and trousers from Blush, faux fur cape from Swamp, shoes from Debenhams and bag from Dunnes Stores.

Describe your style in three words? Timeless. Edgy. Classic.

Fashion or function — which word best describes your attitude to clothes and why? Function. It allows me to be both stylish and comfortable whatever the occasion.

What’s your biggest source of style inspiration? Coco Chanel for her unrivalled elegance and Hollywood designer Edith Head for creating the images of so many style icons who still inspire today.

What do you think of Irish street style? People are no longer slaves to fashion and exude a new-found confidence in self-styling which is very exciting as it allows us compete with any of the international fashion capitals.

Where do you shop? I love shopping in Blush (Douglas Village SC), Verso and Penneys; The Shoe Box for the Iron Fist range; Brown Thomas; and Miss Daisy Blue for one-off vintage creations.

Who or what is Ireland’s greatest undiscovered gem? Dublin fashion designer Clare Garvey is going to take the world by storm.

Why does your style/outfit work? It is easy to wear, covers all the right places and gives shape.
