New Year; New You. What better way to keep that workout resolution than by looking like a style champ?

Lightweight fleece and windproof jackets, stretch leggings and ventilated t-shirts all win big especially when combined with moisture wicking fabrics for maximum performance.

Brands like adidas by Stella McCartney and Nike suit cross trainers and road runners, while price-friendly ranges from Penneys and M&S will stretch the body, not the budget.

STYLE NOTES

Think comfort. Jackets and hoodies should be loose enough for outdoor bootcamp layering, while a drawstring waistband will help keep Pilates pants in place.

Fit sports bras according to impact level: low for yogis; high for Zumba lovers.

Invest in a shoe that suits your sport: waffle tread soles provide kettlebell traction while lighterweight counterparts mimic the freedom of barefoot running.
