MOST dads have all the ties, tools and gadgets known to man, so why not extend his grooming repertoire instead.

Male grooming is on the up, with sales of hairstyling products currently booming, thanks to Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby.

Inspired by the dapper 1920s look and Leonardo DiCaprio’s slicked-back hair, some pharmacies are reporting sales of men’s hair pomade, wax and gel doubling since the film’s release.
