Red Carpet Wrap: Jessica Chastain

* Heavy snowfall in America meant that she was in danger of not making it, but Jessica Chastain was both on time and best dressed at the BAFTAs in London in her dazzling electric blue Rolan Mouret gown — which perfectly complemented the star’s flame-red hair. Pure glamour.

* Heeding the organisers’ warning not to flash too much flesh, Rihanna was red hot at the Grammy Awards in a crimson Azzedine Alaia gown, full-on hair extensions and red lipstick (Ruby Woo by MAC, by the way). The sheer panels kept it sexy, dramatic and young. Bravo.

* Well done Maura Derrane, those curves look fabulous in that Shail K fishtail number at the IFTAs in Dublin, and the unusual neckline stole the show. A pretty ponytail, sparkly clutch and red nails let the dress do the talking — in this case, it’s shouting “I win, I win!”.

* Anne Hathaway’s gone all gamine on us again at the Les Miserables premiere during the Berlin International Film Festival in a cute short navy Chanel dress with ruffled train. But something’s not right. The matchy matchy blue heels and the almost-shiny opaque tights ruin it. Shame.
