Olly Murs pays tribute to young Tipperary mother killed in crash

26-year-old Nicola Kenny from Thurles in Co. Tipperary tragically died last week when the car she was in was hit by a truck in the hard shoulder on the M8.

The young woman had only given birth the day before and was being driven up to Dublin by her mother Ann after her little baby Lily-Rose was transferred up to Temple Street hospital because of health worries.

Her mother pulled into the hard shoulder so the family could take the call giving her good news about her newborn when the incident occurred.

Nicola was laid to rest on Thursday of last week and since then her friends have started an online campaign for Olly Murs to pay tribute to the young teen, as she was a massive fan.

With most of her Tweets on her social media account dedicated to him.

She even received this custom pillow case as an early Christmas present a few years ago.

Today Olly took to the social media platform to pay his respects to a fan.

Heartbreaking.
