Friends of Buncrana victim Jodie-Lee are tweeting #jbforjodie to catch Justin Bieber’s attention

Friends of Jodie-Lee Daniels, the 14-year-old girl who died alongside her mother, nephews and brother-in-law following a tragic accident in Buncrana at the weekend, have started an online campaign to try and get her idol, Justin Bieber to pay tribute to her.

Using the hashtag #jbforjodie, fellow Beliebers and other prominent supporters around the world have tweeted the 22-year-old constantly since yesterday.

Speaking to the Derry Journal, the principal of St Mary’s College Marie Lindsay described Jodie-Lee Daniels as a “quiet, hard-working and beautiful young girl” who loved her Justin Bieber pencil case, hair and makeup.

“She was always smiling, If you were in bad form, she put you in good humour,” she said.

#jbforjodie comes after Wayne Rooney tweeted his condolences to Jodie’s nephews Mark and Evan following the online campaign #rooneyformarkandevan.
