Sex and the City star makes a ‘big’ impression in the Cavan county library

Sex and The City star Chris Noth has landed on our shores to research his family tree, for the popular US show 'Who Do You Think You Are?'

A long way from his black limo days, the ‘big’ star landed in Co Cavan and created quite the stir in the local library.

According to reports Chris’s great great grandfather originally came from Knockbride in Cavan before emigrating to Canada in 1840.

Noth, is of course, best known for playing Carrie Bradshaw’s on-again off-again love interest Mr. Big in US sitcom Sex and the City, and is currently playing the role of Peter Florrick in The Good Wife.

Between Sarah Jessica Parker’s Donegal residence and Noth’s Cavan roots, we can see an amazing spin-off series in the works - from cocktails to Cavan.
