Miley Cyrus 'always hoping and dreaming' of getting back with Liam Hemsworth

Miley Cyrus "never got over" Liam Hemsworth.

The 'Wrecking Ball' hitmaker - who was engaged to the 'Hunger Games' star until 2013 - has reportedly been "hoping and dreaming" the pair could rekindle their romance for some time now.

A source told PEOPLE magazine: "Miley never got over Liam. Despite them constantly fighting before the split, Miley always said Liam is the love of her life.

"There were so many things that she loved about their relationship. They had a lot of fun and Liam was mostly very supportive of Miley.

"It seemed she was always hoping and dreaming that they one day could get back together again."

Meanwhile, the 23-year-old singer was recently seen spending the holidays with Liam and had the "time of her life".

An insider said at the time: "Miley came back to LA on Monday after spending the holidays with Liam. She had the time of her life being with him and his family.

"She feels like they could pick up right where they left off. Miley has never gotten over Liam and always hoped they would get back together. She doesn't know where it will go, but she definitely still loves him and wants to be with him. Liam has an interest in being back together too."
