It’s that time of year again, when all the lovely girls make their way down to Tralee in a bid to be crowned the lovelist.

And this year the festival celebrates its 56th birthday - 56 years of cheesy moments, beautiful gúnas, family fun and, in fairness, everything great about being Irish.
