WATCH: Rod Stewart shows James Corden he can still rock out

“Drinking and a shagging, drinking and a shagging,” were the words legendary rocker Rod Stewart used to describe his rock and rock lifestyle in James Corden’s latest addition of ‘Carpool Karaoke’.

The journey, like all carpool journeys, began with a rendition of ‘The First Cut is the Deepest’ and went on to feature A$AP Rocky giving his new single ‘Everyday’ socks from the backseat.

Corden then took the opportunity to question Stewart about his days with The Faces - the rocker admitted he would often “smash up hotel rooms” and revealed the band were once banned from all Holiday Inn hotels.

And of course it ends with Corden stroking Stewart's hair.
