New video features Sheeran's baby photos

Singer Ed Sheeran has shown off his baby pictures in the music video of his new single.

Normally the privilege of close friends and family, the Brit winner’s fans have been given a rare glimpse into his childhood in a montage of videos, which show him as a newborn nestling in his parents’ bed and as a chubby-cheeked, bare-bottomed baby crawling on the carpet for Photograph.

The home movie clips, which also feature the bespectacled singer learning to play the piano and guitar, him busking as a teenager and in the present day, were shot by the Thinking Out Loud singer’s parents.

Sheeran, 24, shared the music video for the track, taken from his second album x, on his social network accounts, adding: “p.s its me.”

He normally prefers to cameo in his music videos, even roping in Harry Potter star Rupert Grint as his look-alike in Lego House.

Sheeran, whose album x has been certified seven times platinum, is currently on tour in the US before returning to the UK for three sold-out Wembley Stadium shows in July.
