Danny Dyer licked Mary Berry's ear at the TV Choice Awards on Monday night.
The 'EastEnders' hunk, 37, stunned the 'Great British Bake Off' star, 79, after he slipped his tongue into her ear canal as she presented the cast of the BBC One show with the gong for the Best Soap on stage at the ceremony.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Danny came from the other side to the rest of the cast and surprised Mary. He leant right over her and licked her ear. She tried to keep her composure but was clearly very shocked."
Following his bizarre behaviour, a member of staff was then ordered to spend the rest of the night following the drunk actor around to make sure he didn't get himself into any more trouble.
The source explained: “She even followed him into the toilet, they were so worried about the state he was in. But it’s for his own sake and to protect him because he’s actually one of the most popular
members of the staff. The bosses love him.”
However, this wasn't the only shocking thing Danny - who plays Mick Carter in the soap - did at the ceremony, which was held at the Hilton in Park Lane, central London, as he also shocked the audience when he launched into a foul-mouthed rant on stage as he collected his award for Best Actor earlier on in the evening.
