British comedian to star in Muppets sequel

Ricky Gervais is being lined up for the Muppets sequel.

The British comedian will replace Jason Segel, who said he will have no role in the second film.

The plot remains a closely guarded secret, but Ty Burrell from 'Modern Family' is known to be playing a "lazy Interpol agent".
