Watch this adorable summary of the 1916 rising by primary school students

Everything you ever needed to know about the 1916 Easter Rising is available here, rhymed in a poem and delivered by fifth class students of Moyderwell Mercy Primary school, Tralee.

And it’s all in seven action-packed minutes, full of adorable children and some dubious acting talent.

Muinteoir Eoin surely had his hands full with this re-creation but thanks to his patience and the enthusiastic participation of over a dozen young budding Oscar winners, this masterpiece was made.

A clever piece of footage that clearly took a lot of work, you have to commend their efforts, from the camera and editing skills to the wardrobe and props, it is a first class production that the class should be very proud of.
