Club promoter messages Irishman thinking he is club DJ, hilarity ensues

Danny James Elliott is not just the name of a club DJ in Leeds, it is also the name of a roguish Irishman with a love of elaborate pranks.

Unfortunately for one club promoter, he managed to mix these two Dannys up with hilarious results.

Irishman Danny James Elliott was minding his own Facebook business, probably engaging in some playful banter with friends, maybe indulging in some Facebook lurking when he received a message from a club promoter offering him the biggest night of the week at their club.

This is where most people would politely reply informing the club this was a case of mistaken identity, but not this Danny James Elliott, this guy decided to play along and have some fun.

Danny replied by enthusiastically agreeing to the gig and set about requesting a long list of obscure and outlandish things including animals and a Jacuzzi.

Playful Danny also took the time to put together a playlist of his own consisting of cheesy pop music.

It was soon after this the promoter realised he had the wrong guy, he might not have picked up on it from the bizarre messages, but the amateur playlist gave it all away.
