strange promises as he called for the downfall of FIFA president Sepp Blatter.

In the hope FIFA's sponsors - i.e Adidas, McDonalds and Budweiser - would heap pressure on Blatter to resign, the Last Week Tonight host promised to wear ridiculous Adidas runners, take a bite out of everything on the McDonalds $1 menu and down a Bud Light Lime.

Now that Blatter has promised to resign, Oliver - to his credit - put his money where his mouth is on Sunday.

He really was that happy to see Blatter gone…
