Hip teacher joins students for outstanding Uptown Funk performance

Dallas High School teacher Scott Pankey is not like any teacher we’ve ever met.

Pankey is the director/theatre arts teacher at the A Maceo Smith New Tech High School and he, along with his students, has gone mega-viral this week.

It's all thanks to a brilliant cover performance, by Scott and his students, of the dance to Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars' hit Uptown Funk.

The video has attracted close to three million hits on YouTube and there is no doubting Scott is a star.

The production work was done entirely by Scott's students and itlooks like they got most of the school involved in the routine.

For our money Scott is one of those rare things in life - a cool teacher!
