VIDEO: Ice skating man trips while singing national anthem, carries on regardless

Singing in front of a crowd is pretty scary, right? It’s extra stressful if you’re ice skating at the same time. Now imagine spectacularly falling over mid-song. 

Mark Donnelly was singing the Canadian national anthem at an ice hockey game a few days ago when he became tangled in a red carpet someone had foolishly spread across the ice.

A gasping crowd was soon cheering for the fallen singer, however, as he continued singing, even while struggling to regain his balance.

He finished his performance by gracefully gliding around the ice rink, encouraging the enthusiastic audience to sing along.
