The programme for Fastnet Film Festival was launched at the Crane Lane in Cork on Thursday, revealing another impressive roster of short films, feature screenings, and industry events. Taking place in Schull from May 20-24, the event will be attended by Irish stars such as Éanna Hardwicke, Niamh Algar and Robert Sheehan.

Top director Lenny Abrahamson is a regular attendee at the event, and among the discussions he’ll be hosting is a Q&A with London-based Cork director John Crowley, the man behind such films as Brooklyn, Intermission, and We Live in Time.

Panel events include an exploration of the final season of The Dry, with contributions from several people involved in the hit TV show, including writer Nancy Harris, actor Pom Boyd (Bernie), and director Paddy Breathnach.
