Late Late Show fans will find themselves with a gap to fill on television this week as the long-running talk show will not be on the air for the second time in a month.

Last month, there was a break from the regular schedule on Friday, March 6, with host Patrick Kielty and co taking a rare Friday night off as the show clashed with Ireland’s Six Nations rugby match against Wales in the Aviva Stadium.

Regular broadcasting resumed the following Friday, but this week will again see the show missing from the schedule.

RTÉ confirmed to the Irish Examiner last month that the Late Late Show will not be broadcast on Good Friday for the third year in a row.

In its place,  Bob Marley: One Love, a musical biopic starring  Kingsley Ben-Adir as the reggae singer, will air this Friday on RTÉ One at 9.35pm.

Last week’s  Late Late Show guests included Caitríona Perry, Pat Kenny, and Ciarán Hinds.
